About me

Harry%202019_edited.jpg

I'm a recent graduate from Lighting Design course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Lighting has long been a passion of mine, and I have come a long way from lighting school discos.

Most recently I was Lighting Designer on a production of 'Boudica', directed by Jon Pashley, which toured from the Royal Central School of Speech's and Drama's Courtyard Theatre to the Leicester Curve Theatre Studio Space. I have also recently finished two industry placements, one at White Light LTD for 4 weeks working in multiple departments. The second and more recent placement took place at the National Theatre Dofman performance space; helping changeover from 'Death of England' to 'All Of Us'.

I have completed four seasons as a venue technician in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, twice for Gilded Balloon, Underbelly and SpaceUK. I have also had roles including, but not limited to, operating the lighting and sound desks, venue crew and venue team member. During the Edinburgh Fringe, I have worked with popular shows and performers such as 'Gamarjobat', Jack Docherty, 'The Lost Voice Guy', Ronnie Golden and Barry Cryer.

I am trained in programming and operating ETC products including the TI, Geo, ION XE, Nomad and Element by Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, as well as being trained to use the Grand MA2 desk from Ambesphere Solutions.
